Red tiny insects on garden furniture?
Well, they aren `t on one of our garden plants or a patio table where we eat barbecue. They are only on our chairs covered those of metal (with cushions on them). I `m not sure if they bite, but I don` t want to put on the chairs because I `m not like too many things crawling all over me. I tried spraying with the hose with our presidents, but they were back the next day. Is a way to get rid of them for good?
I'm only guessing, but they could be spider mites. As I remember they can bite, but their mouthparts are not made to do damage to human skin. They feed on coniferous trees / plants and they can damage harshly those who, if the infestation is bad. You'll probably need to spray evergreens nearby, and the deck area as well. Try use a weak solution of the first spray (just to avoid damaging birds and other animals), and do so through a mist if you can rent one (rent a respirator). A cool day or evening with very little wind is ideal.
