Garage door opener?

E opens Chamberlain died. A friend had Liftmaster opener with the main gear nylon all chewed. I put gear in the Chamberlain Liftmaster. They are interchangeable. Opener will not close because he needs to see the eyes of security for the close trigger. I do not have any because Chamberlain did not need. Is there a way to circumvent the Liftmaster to make believe eyes are inplace and aligned????

I think you can put a rider to complete the circuit, that is all eyes are, they are switches, simply determine if a switch open or closed and jumper it to do what the switch would. Of course, those eyes are there to safety reasons, so if you get around it, it will not stop before closing the door on you dog or car. Maybe you should just get a Again, there is not so expensive and they have all the safety tips in tact.
